Due to the nature of me being a full-time Assistant Manager in food service, streams will likely come and go, and it is likely I may be forced to cancel a stream if I get called in.Basically, everything is subject to change at a moment's notice. Always check the Discord if I'm not streaming during a day that I normally would.Currently, I'm only streaming on Twitch, but I'm in the process of working on streaming out to Youtube AND TikTok as well. If there is a Pay-Per-View on a wrestling night (that I actually get off), it's likely I'll be streaming it in Discord, so come on and check it out!

Generation Nuzlocké Rules

Preface: I'm very much unsure how I want to go about doing Sun / Ultra Moon. The current plan is to make it to Sun / Ultra Moon, and then from there play it by ear. If I find a good walkthrough video, I'll go by how it is played and base level caps from there, otherwise they'll be treated as 'Special Attractions', and just be Nuzlocke runs without the restart clause, instead replacing it with a 'rematch clause' for team wipes, max of 3 per game.0) Legend Rule - A Legendary is considered separate from a normal route / town encounter, and can be caught, however only a single Legendary is allowed to be caught per Generation.Example: If I catch Zapdos, I'm not allowed to catch Articuno or Moltres.1) BASE Nuzlocké rules apply, ie 'nickname the first Mon you catch, and if it faints it's dead'.2) If a Pokémon faints, it can't be used FOR THE REST OF THE ATTEMPT. For instance, if my Pikachu is fainted by Brock on attempt 3, then IRREGARDLESS of what game I'm playing, I'm forbidden from using Pichu, Pikachu, or Raichu until I start attempt 4.3) Dupe Clause / Shiny Clause / Evolution Clause / Gift Clause
- If my first encounter in a new Route is one I've already caught, I'm allowed to reroll, up to 10 attempts.
- If my first encounter in a new location is from a Pokémon line I've already caught a member (example, I catch a Pidgey, but encounter a Pidgeotto on a later rfoute, for example), then I'm allowed the option to re-roll OR catch, as long as that member hasn't fainted during the run.
- If I encounter a Shiny Pokémon, then I'm allowed to catch it, regardless if I've already caught a Pokémon in the route, SO LONG AS it hasn't fainted previously.
- Pokémon are being tracked according to PokeLink, so the Magikarp on Route 4 AND a wild catch are both valid, but the gift Eevee AND Game Center Pokémon both count as a single encounter so I have to pick one or the other.
- Gift Clause / "Tag Team Rule": In terms of trade / and "gifted" Pokémon (think the Game Center Pokémon for example), I'm allowed to have more than one, and all of the dupes need to be knocked out in order for it count as an official Elimination. This however, does not count if the Pokémon has already been eliminated prior to the duplicate being obtained.4) Carry Over rule: Only the REMAINING ALIVE Pokémon are allowed to be carried over to the next Generation outside of Legendary Pokémon. If a Legendary Pokémon is the only remaining team member upon a successful Champion fight, then it is sacrificed so that one Pokémon can be chosen at random to be carried over. The "rebirthed" Pokémon does not gain any of the bonuses in Rule 5.5) All surviving party Pokémon will allowed 1 change, be it either an IV change, a Nature change, Hidden Ability, or the addition of an Egg move. They will start at Level 5 as their pre-evolved form, retaining the EXACT move set from the previous game, barring HM moves. Should it survive the entire game, it'll be allowed to select these benefits again.Example: A Pikachu that survives 3 Generations is allowed any combination of 3 bonuses, be it 3 IV changes, a Nature and 2 IV changes, etc.Starting from the first possible catch, each new encounter will be a member from the old team (rolled at random), until all members are encountered, and then route encounters will return to normal.6) Trade / Stone Evolutions: In order for a Pokémon requiring a trade or Evolution stone to evolve, I must reach and beat the 5th Gym of each Generation. In the event of Evolution stones, if I reach the Mall of that generation before this condition is met, then I'm allowed to ONLY do Stones until I reach Gym 5, at which point I'll be allowed to fully evolve as needed.7) 300 Bits or 1 sub / resub will allow the user to select the NEXT POSSIBLE catch's nickname.8) If a Pokemon Death is due to the effects of a 1-Hit Knock Out (Horn Drill, Fissure, Guillotine, or Sheer Cold), I will gift 10 subs to chat.9) For level caps, see below. Currently, I am allowed to go UP TO +3 over (any more than that will disqualify that Pokemon from competing in a Gym Battle until that Gym has been beaten), but continuous failed attempts will grant a +1 bonus for that generation until I finish. Example: If I fail 2 times in Kanto, it'll be +4 instead of +3 (meaning my EML (Effective Max Level) would be 18, another 2 fails 19, etc. This is strictly to ensure I actually complete this challenge before the end of the year.10) In order to facilitate an easier time getting through multiple attempts of the same generation (in a row), the following bonuses will be granted after each fail:
- Effort Values will be randomized at the end of the 8th Gym
- Held Items will be granted at the end of the 8th Gym (Pokemon dependent)

Level Caps (by Generation)

- Rare Candies will be allowed up to +4 over the Gym Leader's highest Pokémon. In the event of 2 or more failed losses, all caps will be +1 per extra failed attempt.Example: Leaf Green was failed twice, so all level caps go up to +4 for each. If I fail another attempt without, they'll be +5, UP TO +7. .
